Well I took the day off to help me get settled in the new apartment. I was there around 3pm today. They might have hours like that. I didn't check to see how late/weekend hours. I have had dealings with a few AAA offices before, and I always remember them being pleasant and efficient, especially compared to the DMV. This just happened to be above and beyond. My move has been pretty stressful/tiring. It was nice to have something go super smooth.

Ok, well I will do some googling but for now I won't use Costco gas then. I got a Costco Amex and it gives 3% cash back at any gas station....I just hope shell, 76, etc. take Amex now. haha. I am used to VISA or MasterCard

It looks like Costco is listed on the Top Tier site, but it does say Costco Wholesale. Not sure if that's the same thing as just Costco; I would assume so.

I decide to go in to update the address on my 15+ year AAA membership. The office is super nice, and everyone inside is incredibly friendly and helpful.

One woman changes my address for my membership, then asks if I want to update the address for my registration. Oh yeah, they do that, so I don't have to go to the DMV, thank goodness. Oh and your registration is up in January? No problem, we can take care of that right now too. No no, doesn't matter if you do not have the slip. Oh, you need a smog too? Well then, we have a smog station around back and we can do that and give you your tags today as well.

My god, I love AAA. I went from changing the addy on my AAA membership to that, updating the address on my car registration and drivers license, renewing my registration, smogging my car, and finally getting my tags. The smog guy even said "beautiful car. These are great cars." They didn't need to put it on the dyno either. He just plugged it in and looked under the hood quickly before gingerly putting it back down (hopefully admiring my M3 strut bar and BMW Perf intake), and that was it. 5 minutes. And yes it passed. If anyone is considering a AAA membership, this was totally worth it. They have a first rate operation and avoids the DMV.

This is kind of ZHP related, but I just joined Costco today too. Love it and yes I spent a decent amount (but saved money too!). I noticed they also sell gas. I asked the nice lady processing my membership if it was Top Tier and she said honestly she didn't know. Any thoughts on if their gas is good enough for our wonderful rides?

+1. I have been with ACSC (AAA) for 37 yrs. and counting.....

It is overall, yes. I am feeling a bit overwhelmed but I am taking it a bit each day. The BMW seems happy in its new underground, protected garage though, so thats nice. We both love the big open freeways here. Big difference to the stop and go city driving I am used to.

12 degrees, snow on the roads. . .should be an interesting drive the shop this morning on my summers. My tire guy has me set up with some Nitto winter tires. He swears by them.

Despite this, I will still put nothing but Shell in my car. It's been tested that it provides a nice power bump over regular gas.

I believe Costco is in the middle of negotiating a new credit card company contract. Negotiations with visa MC and Amex. They already dropped Amex in Canada for MC, so you might get a new card soon!

Last night I got my two new apex ARC-8s on the rear to replace the bent wheels. Car feels great.

    Anybody want some bent wheels?

But seriously, what do I do with these things?
