What did you do for your ZHP/ BMW / MINI today? #2

Told the wife this is what happens since we decided to keep the car.

I got new boots and armrest cover.

Nice, this is what I'm telling my better half right now as we're about to drop about a grand on our CRV. Its due for shocks, brakes and a few other things. Its better than a car payment!

After a nearly 2 week hiatus, I drove mine! My sister is in town visiting and crashed at our house last night, took her back out to the burbs before work and she asked if we could take the ZHP, she hadn't been in it in a long time, I took it as a compliment. She's into cars too, but still nice to have the request and I obliged of course.

Now I'm back in the CRV at work about to rotate the tires and inspect the brakes which I'm pretty sure are toast, I keep hearing/feeling metal on metal.

Did NGK plugs, oil and filter, and the rough road strut tower plates. I'm again impressed about how much easier this car is to work on than my previous Jeeps.

Good work. And they are pretty easy compared to many other makes/models. Alignment after the plate install?

Not really needed if the camber pin on the hats was never popped out.

installed new clear side markers - the old ones were yellowing a little on the seals.

If anyone wants them - come get them or pay to ship them

these are for sedan or wagon - facelift - not coupe

Not sure if you can see them. But cf side splitters with turned up ends to replicate the Garbino front splitter.

Is it needed or not? All I can see that I would be doing is changing ride height by 1/8"- are most alignments really going to compensate for that anyway?
