What did you do for your ZHP/ BMW / MINI today? #2

Brought home a black sapphire metallic convertible hardtop, BMW hardtop ceiling hoist gear and BMW folding windscreen with zippered storage case today. My car is silver gray and before painting the hardtop matching silver gray, I plan to see how well the black sapphire looks installed. Hey the black rag top roof looks good against the silver gray, why not see how the interesting black sapphire metallic does in the looks department? The fellow selling this gear had a 2001 M3 that was totaled last December so this top has the black trim.

I just realized I missed her 12th birthday!

Tuesday (03/03/15) I had to go to a funeral for a friend that went way too early (44 years old), so my mind just wasn't in the right place.

Also noticed a dent on the deck-lid this morning. When it rains, it pours.

How'd you do that? It was impossible when I tried. Gaskets didn't fit.

+1. Mine were impossible to replace as well. The foam was much too thick. How'd you do it?

Um it was super easy. Had no issues at all putting them in and the lenses went on without any effort at all.

Bought the gaskets from bmw. $17 a piece.
