LOL. It's steel so I can't leave it exposed. There was a little bit of surface rust on the leading edge where the paint chipped off/PO bottomed out at some point in the last 30 years. Honestly, I've probably done more than enough to paint it but I just wanted to take all the old paint off. I didn't expect it to be this ridiculousHaha, NEEDS MOAR POLISH.

you could also media blast with soda - strips and leaves residue that deters rust
