Not sure Stuart but since I use the cigarette adapter for USB charging and the ashtray for my quarters, this seemed the best solution for my setup

It was time to swap out steering wheels so John's perforated leather steering wheel will remain in pristine condition
Took the opportunity to clean off all the dust that had accumulated in the clock ring area...my finger is pointing to the alignment groove on the steering column
Kept track of this alignment groove
You can also see the alignment groove on the steering wheel
With flash you can see how I have the alignment grooves match between the steering shaft snd steering wheel....time to slide it all the way in and secure the retaining nut...
Round air bag reconnected and installed
For those who have not swapped out steering wheels, it's very easy but remember to disconnect your battery and allow the car to sit at least 15 minutes before disconnecting your airbag or you will get an airbag deployed warning on your instrument cluster. Just a heads up
