They are pretty much stock Style 197 (BBS RX282/283) staggered wheels from an 07 E92 with sport package.... 18x8 ET34 fronts, 18x8.5 ET37 rears. I'm thinking(hoping) the 34/37 setup will sit a little more aggressively compared to the stock 47/51 offset.

Should get the car back shortly....I'll post photos!!!!

    ---

Got XP running on VirtualBox on my Mac, too cool. Started to install everything I need to code the incoming i3, got decently far and bam brick wall. I need windoze 7. The internet connection at work is a JOKE, so I'll have to work on it tomorrow.

Someone on the ATL i3 FB group said their car came off of the boat today. I'm hoping mine was on the same boat and that maybe I'll get it a day or two earlier than expected. I've tried using BMW's tracking system with the cars VIN but because I didn't actually order the car it always wants me to talk to someone. No thanks, I'll just try to be patient.

Damn, I need to change my sig. Sad.
You should have bootcamped it..,it's free with OS X. It partitions the hardrive into an OS X and windows drive. You can do a dedicated startup into windows instead of it running through a program. That's what I have running windows 7 for my tuning programs. Pretty sweet setup.

I'll keep that in mind if this doesn't work out, or doesn't work well, a friend hooked me up with Windoze 8.1 64bit and I've almost got it ready to code. I still need the cable and, oh yeah, the car. haha

Thats what I did today, and looked at pics of i3's with 1" lowering springs on them. :Drool

The parts guy pointed me to the parts manager and said those were stock wheels that had been swapped out. As it turns out, they were a take-off set of Style 197 wheels...exactly the wheels I've been wanting to put on my convertible. I had those same wheels on our 08 convertible and always liked them. As much as I love the look of the zhp wheels, mine are in sad, sad shape....the PO let his kid drive the car a lot so mine are rashed almost the entire circumference and one even has a minor flat spot on the inside. So.....I contacted the owner of the wheels, made him an offer and stuffed them into the convertible (yes...some how they all fit). Now I'll clean them up with some elbow grease and Sonax Plus and schedule the swap with my local tire shop. I'll be saving the Style 135s for future refurbishing....but for now, $200 for these 197s was a no-brainer!
$200 is a steal! I paid a lot more than that for mine, although it included a brand new (not even mounted) set of tires. Here's how they look on my car - stock suspension & ride height:

Hopefully you won't be using spacers or rolling the fenders.

Yeah....new tires would have been nice but that was not the priority. All in all, I am very happy with how the wheels look!
