New front glass installed. Pilkington DOT 177 by AutoGlassNow. They also replaced the OEM cowl and 3/4 gasket/trim I supplied.

Ordered a new gas cap and am hoping for an easy fix!

Besides the codes, other symptoms ? On my first e46, the SES came on. Also, at the gas station the pump stopped multiple times while filling up. One mechanic said to change the gas cap. No luck.

The dealer said it was charcoal canister, IIRC.

air, yep - it's part of the evap system.
