I should just get a set then. If they last 2 sets of pads I would be content.
Any more available?

Ive been back and forth on purchasing these as well, mainly because my brakes all around were done just prior to my purchase. Getting a set may not be a bad idea though

Is there a tolerance on the rotor for minimum thickness? Or do people not even resurface these rotors. ?

BMW rotors aren't supposed to be 'cut'.
The minimum thickness on the rotor allows for one more set of pads to be used with it. So, if you wear out your first set of pads, and the rotor thickness is above the minimum (even if by just a little), it's good to go for one more set of pads, according to my BMW tech friend.
Hmm that's interesting

Yea I know that's what they say, we told the tech to just take off the minimum, been driving on them for years now no brake fade, warping or stress cracks. No one cuts flywheels anymore and that was standard procedure back in the day...Normally if they were cheap rotors, I'd just replace them but I wanted to get a little more mileage out of these
