Moving in September because the neighbor issue has been so bad. It's insane really. First and last time for the HOA experience.

Yeah, HOAs can really suck. I will never live at a place where there's an HOA.... you have to pay in (dues) and then they have the nerve to tell you how you're gonna live at your home. The heck with that foolishness....

It's not worth the hassle. They've complained that the garage door staying open too long is a magnet for crime (never any type of crime back in this part of the neighborhood, EVER). They also complained about cars parking too close to their mailbox but they were parked legally and gave enough room for the mail to be delivered.
We were fined for all of this, of which we have paid none of it. The HOA board is insane

Seeing what you have to endure from all this bull crap is the main reason I will never ever live in a place that has an HOA. I refuse to be told how I can live in my own home. This is total bull crap as far as I'm concerned. Those people (your neighbors) seriously need to get a life!!! Man I'm sorry you have to go thru this kind of crap....
After you move out of the neighborhood.... you should get a bunch of people with loud cars to drive thru the neighborhood and really make some noise! A way of saying "goodbye"...
