    I like the looks just fine, but having glass sitting six inches off the pavement isn't the most robust. I haven't done anything with mine since it's not a daily driver, but I should at least get some laminate on it.

    Got an alignment. Feels great.

    Had the UUC Evo3 SSK installed. Feels less great.

    I know short shift kits make shifting action stiffer. Gears 1-4 are fine, but getting into 5th gear is very difficult, and 6th gear is difficult as well although not nearly as tough as 5th. I'm not sure what's up with it. It's nothing like the same shift kit in my father's E39 540i.

    Never had this issue with any short shift I've had. Try changing your transmission fluid.
