Tony's screen name is Tnhl1989. I picked up mine from him about 9 months ago for $35.

Weisslicht LED turn signal bulbs do not hyperflash as they CANBUS bulbs. The bulb out errors are caused by something else.
The only reason to code out cold bulb checks is so the lights do not flicker at startup. The LCM sends a pulse to see if the bulbs are there, and since the bulbs don't match the signal the LCM expects, they flicker.

    PA Soft is very cheap.

Personally I have both hot and cold checks disabled because the car also sends this pulse in timed intervals while the ignition is on. It still detects bulbs that go out; the difference is that it won't detect the bulb being out until the bulb gets used instead of detecting ahead of time like with the factory coding.

It's not the car you drive, it's how you drive it.

Picked her up from my local independent shop Technique Automotive who did the following for me:

R&R Water Pump, Hoses, Expansion Tank, Cap, Coolant Switch, Thermostat, Drive Belts, Tensioners, and Pulleys
    Oil & Filter Change

The owner of the shop always checks out his customer's new vehicles from top to bottom, to help him and his customers plan out future maintenance or discover issues. His words: the cleanest and most well-serviced 10-year old BMW he has seen, runs and drives just like it came from the factory. All the typical BMW mechanical & electrical things that he normally sees that go bad at this age or vintage are not an issue. His wife, who runs the desk, was writing up the paperwork and had seen the car thought there had to be an error, she thought the car was only a year or two old.....

Made me smile and feel good about my purchase.....

    On the path to squareness

Today I moved a half step closer to going square.....I picked up a set of style 135s from a local guy that was parting out a totaled zhp. They aren't as pristine as I had hoped but I plan to have all 4 re-finished in a chrome shadow as discussed in this thread: http://www.zhpmafia.com/forums/showt...r-change/page3.

All in all, $260 including the tires...not a fan of the Conti's on there since when I do finally get them refinished, I'll probably go with Michelin A/S 3s.

Installed Koni sport struts up front with Lemforder mounts and reinforcement plates. Also installed power flex black FCAB's. Took her for a spirited drive and impromptu autocross in an empty parking lot. Dynamite!

Those Contis are IMO the best bang for the buck tire out there, and around here a lot of the autocrossers use them on their daily drivers....not a bad deal you snagged there!
