Haven't figured mine out yet, hasn't felt as rough as it was before during the colder days though.

Hey guys. Just need some guidance with these bc coils for my zhp sedan. What spring rates do you guys recommend? 8k and 10k? Or 12k? Are the swift Springs worth the extra couple hundred? This is only a daily. If anything she may see the track once or twice. Nothing serious. But at the same time, I want a nice quality ride. I'm planning on going low. Not super low, but tucking a little bit of tire. I'll also be in 19in wheels if that makes a difference.

    Thanks guys!

I've heard the swift spring upgrade is a necessity/something you will regret if you don't get it

with your goals stated (19" wheels, 'tucking tire', and wanting good ride quality) - you're going to have to make a compromise. those things do not work well together. either forget about handling and ride quality, or go with 17s/18s and a taller ride height.

based on the spring failures we've seen recently on here, i would say, yes, it is a necessity to go with the swift springs. the other thing is - for similar money, you could get a Ground Control kit, or a bilstein PSS kit - both of which will have better damping (and i suspect MUCH better build quality).

for spring rates, i would choose 8K and 12K - are there more options?

I'm running BC's. Has anyone received (what I think might be) the wrong camber adjustment plates? Last year when I got them, the plates that came with them were triangular instead of the circular ones that I would think should have come instead. When I called BC they assured me that this was the "set up that e46 drivers were using now". Did I get B.S.'d because I really think I did...

Also thinking about upgrading to the swift springs. Anyone who's had both want to chime in on the difference?

Thanks for the input! I understand the compromise. But I don't think the ride as to be horrible though right? Just something decent with the setup I plan on having. Also, I'm ordering from the north American website and the 8k, 12k spring rate is available for the e46m. Could I order the m3 coils? Would they work for my zhp?

I just put my BC's on last August, and they came with circular camber plates. I'm freaking out reading all these posts about upgrading to Swift springs, I had better go check mine for rust soon. I went with the 8kg/12kg springs. They ride excellent.

Yes, they'll work on the ZHP. Those are what I ran on mine.

Anyone know where to purchase the swift springs from? My springs are starting to rust pretty bad on my BCs. Only been installed for about 14k too... Other than that, I have no complaints! I'm running the 8/12k spring rates too

I have yet to do any reading. What exactly seems to be happening with the springs that come on the coils?

Thanks again for emailing me all the info on your wheel setup btw.. I'm gonna need to update my signature pic too lol. Think I may be pulling on a used set of BBS LM's though man..
