My wife's friends wedding is ruining our usual cruise in the middle of October, so of course this is the first year we will be taking it the last week of September. Not booked yet tho, so I will see what I can work out. Would really like to get up there and meet everyone, 12h ride isn't too bad for me. Don't know if I could convince her to go or not. We will see.

Ok, I'm definitely IN this year!! My brother's bachelor party is in Chicago the weekend before, and his wedding is on October 15th, so I'll definitely be home for that whole time, and the meet in between! Super pumped!!

I'd recommend staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Tullahoma, TN. Nice place and area. I stayed there for a few weeks during my relocation. If you'd like, I can put together some back road directions off the mountain as an alternative to the interstate.

Thanks for the recommendation. I think the most economical option will work best for me. Finances are going to be tight this summer with me taking extra vacation, and having to travel to Chicago area twice for the wedding... PLUS this weekend...
