What did you do for your ZHP/ BMW / MINI today? #2

I think someone else had AKG poly FCABs that were toast after 20-30k miles. Maybe Ssparrow?

I really like the Z4M FCABs in my car.

I had meyle HD FCABs which were shot after only 15k ish.

Replaced them with z4m FCABs and they are wonderful!

So I finally got to DIY my auxiliary input! Broke the clip for the wiring harness behind the deck, was a pain in the a** to get off, but it'll work until I can get to BMW this weekend.

A quick wash too.

Pulled Colin's 135s and installed a replacement set of wheels to satisfy the insurance company.



Turns out his front tires were in really bad shape. (Rears are new).

Uh oh... I just installed AKG poly's after my Meyle HD's went kaput in 12k miles.

Weird issues like what?

The mirror position on the right side door is never correct. I have to use the seat buttons to enforce the memory position.

Edit: I should note if I use my other key I do not have any issues.

The door actuators can malfunction, causing some pretty weird stuff but a better description would help....

Battery inside your key may be going out...something to consider. Maybe it is not keeping a full charge causing it to act funny...my ZHP's keys were operating intermittenly until they finally quit.


What did I do for my BMW today? Well..... I drove my M3 to work this morning and had a wonderful driving experience as I was taking a nice drive into Newport. What a beautiful morning and drive!!!!

That is what I am wondering since I saw your post....hence my question...
