Everything looks great for 106K. Just a broken chain tensioner guide. For some reason I'm more nervous about doing the valve adjustment.

this is very cool, gary!!One thing cool about this mod is when trickle charging my battery I can see where the voltage is without having to remove the cover to check it with a volt meter.

Got it all done. I rebuilt the vanos with the Beisan orings, anti rattle kit, oil pump disk and solenoid. Replaced the sprocket and hub bolts, did a valve adjustment and set the engine timing. Started it up and it idles perfect, nice and quiet. I had a slight vibration at 3000K so I called Rajaie at Beisan Systems and left a message. He called me back shortly afterward and it's Sunday!! Great customer service!!
Fan shroud mod! Now I can remove the drivers side shroud without removing the radiator hose.

Nice idea on the plastic shroud. I haven't had that on for quite some time just because it was the biggest PITA to get off to work on things.
