I replaced the key battery on one of my ZHPs keys today. I will post details of the process in my project thread later on this afternoon. It was fairly easy to replace (assuming you have good soldering skillz)
For the price of a rechargeable battery, I saved myself from having to order a $250 replacement key fob...

Replaced RF window regulator. It went a lot smoother than when I replaced one on my 328Ci. Very little to adjust - it was a lot easier to keep it from jamming up. I was hoping the airbag in the door was part of a supply voltage code my reader keeps throwing. I'll go and check fuses next. Any ideas where the airbag control module is?
I was hoping to install the Android-based Eonon unit today. I mistakenly bought the older Windows CE version, and want to exchange it, but the eBay seller has been slow to respond.

nice. i need to do full tie rods on my car too - it's seeming a lot more prevalent with 245's on the front now than it did with the 225's (as in, i didn't notice anything with the 225's). might do contol arms at the same time.
lots o' PB Blaster, and an impact wrench - or, very slow, well-spaced, jolts with a breaker bar. i had one that was really nasty. i wire-wheeled the bolts, applied anti-seize and they've come out nicely since.

Just got my tires installed and the car inspected, passed as expected. Also got the AC recharged and that's working, at least for now. Next I have to do RTABs and get an alignment, and I think the car will be ready for daily driving duty.

Installed radiator, hood, grills, lighting and wheels are back from being built
And an entire week of multiple applications per day of conditioner to bring the M3 seats back to soft and in prep for treating with dye.
