Is the sound insulation liner for the hood part number 51488193941?
It looks very complex compared to what's on my car is why I ask.
Also- the expanding rivets used in the center of this part: are they reusable?

Not sure about the liner. Can't get a pic to come up on my phone.
Those plastic rivets are reusable if you can get them out cleanly...

That's the trick. I've broken several of these rivets before despite my best efforts.

Thanks, folks. My liner had shrunk quite a bit and then I cut off two of the mounting tabs, trimming it back to clear a strut tower brace. I think 51488193941 has to be the part, and I'll order up some rivets.

51488193941 is the number for the one I bought for my coupe, $94 shipped off eBay from a BMW dealer.

Anyone know where to get good quality tint it small amounts? I don't want to pay the $150-225 for my windshield that I have been quoted. Rather just do it myself. I've tried buying from shops here but they always try telling me they don't charge much for labor and can maybe take $20 off if they don't cut and install. :lol

If the part number is 31306779487 as shown on the bag, it's the front strut mount bolt, #4 in this diagram:
