Sooo,
thinking I am going to ask the GF to get me the 3" inlet version for my birthdaywhich is the 4th of July, so coming up soon
I have posted a long-delayed recording of the vibrant exhaust as of a month or so after installation.
There are two takes, about a week apart, both made with an iPhone 6s.
The first section has the recorder just in the doorway of my garage on the exhaust side, the second (00:34±) has the car outside the garage and the recorder close to the exhaust.
On my browser I just get a long string of code (the file) when I click on the link below, but I can download it using the usual methods, for playback from a computer or whatever.

Sounds very similar to the magnaflow muffler I was running on my ZHP a while back, maybe a little deeper tone actually.

I'd love to hear the vibrant paired with some headers.

AFAIK the exhaust pipes are 2" OD.
A y-merge to 3" maintains the approximately the same amount of volume that the dual 2-inch pipes provides. Merging to a 2.5" single pipe for the muffler might increase backpressure a bit. I don't have any way to prove this though, lol.
