Tonight I looked at the rear end of the ZHP to see what was causing the noise. After looking at the subframe bushings (which are fine), I decided to remove right rear shock because I thought it was blown.


While I have a new shock from Bilstein, I need to get the other items as the shaft is stripped. Great. Fun.

Do you mean you can't remove the top nut to get the RSM and bump stop off?

Replace all that stuff and instal Turner RSMs.

Yes, shock is blown. Hopefully Turner still has the RMA # on file so I can get my credit back.

I got the nut off this morning by using a visegrips. I already have the Turner RSMs.

Shwan, I also looked at the subframe bushing. They are fine so I won't need the puller.

So, I need help finding part #11. I think that is a rubber gasket for the shock. The one I have is torn.

That's what I thought, I think it's a metal washer.

You might also consider ordering Rogue Engineering's rear shock mounts. They're reinforced and make it so you don't ever have to go tearing up the trunk again to remove the shock.

Yes, it is the metal washer with a grommet attached.

I have turners' version. i also have the reinforcement plates already in the car.
