And found this tonight. DMTL leakage. I assume they are all related. Not sure about the implausible petrol tank level...?




Think it could be the emissions diagnostics pump?

Got the same code on Sketchi due to the gas cap not being fully seated. If it's not the cap, then there is a leak at the other end of the system.

Yeah I wish it was that easy (and cheap). Going after the DMTL pump first. If that's not it it may be the tank evap pump near the VANOS.

the evap valve is under the front edge of the intake manifold, i believe. i've read of guys removing it, cleaning the guts with carb cleaner, and reinstalling - problem solved.

I can't be definitive, but I recall saying the mirror shape is slightly different and one of them won't fit in the other.

I'm interested in people's thoughts on these maintenance intervals. Should they be more, less? Is anything missing? I like to be conservative.

Cleaning it was what a shop here recommended to Dan (Novaphotog) when he asked for me and showed them my codes. They said the one by the charcoal can may need it also.
