Gotcha, didn't know that's what the A stood for. The eBay ad was specifically for amber bulbs, but listed them as 7440, so I'll see how that goes.

Either that guide has misinformation or my car has always had the wrong bulbs in it from the getgo...
I've always had 1156 bulbs in the rear running lights (bottom row). 1156 are single contact - the guide calls for 1157, which is dual contact, and makes no sense since there's only a single metal contact at the bottom of the socket...

Only for the incandescent bulbs. The LED bulbs are all aftermarket, and they do not respect the A naming convention. Every LED amber bulb I've seen (aftermarket) just says the base bulb socket number, so in this case, just 7440 instead of 7440A. It was the same thing when I was looking for amber 1156 bulbs - none of the aftermarket LED options labeled it as 1156A. He should be fine with the LED 7440 amber bulbs he ordered.

Yeah, I thought about it, but I've had some issues with them before because of the facelift differences.

    Appreciate it! Definitely saving that.
Just go to Bimmian.com. All of your LEDs are right there. For me....better quality.

Their prices are astronomical for the same bulb you can get elsewhere.
Their Weisslicht Illustro H7 Flex bulbs that I bought for over $100 from Bimmian can be had elsewhere for anywhere between half that to 75% of that price. The Weisslicht fog light bulbs I bought also were about $100 - can be had for half that price as well elsewhere with similar quality.

That was my feeling. If these don't work out, worst case is I'm $17 out of pocket.

Is removing passenger seat as easy as 4 bolts and electronic connector?

I'm looking to reduce weight at track day.

Well... yes, but you'll trigger an airbag light.

Before you do it, is this a track school or just pure track days? Be certain you won't have to have an instructor at any time before you remove it!

    Oh... Is that easily reset?

Don't people have non-OEM seats in their street cars? Do they just ignore the light?
