Generally done as preventive maintenance every 80-100k.

If you're getting misfires, that's a common sign of bad plug.

Yep That's all that was around when I was growing up. I remember when the Platinums came out. We thought it was so cool that there was a spark plug that would last 100k... back then we were crazy kids driving everywhere so it seemed like we were changing plugs all the time.

I'm not making that much HP so I don't think it would really make a difference. I think I would invest in a new set of coils first...

Do our cars have any airconditioning sent to the trunk? I've been surprised at how moderate the temps stayed back there this summer.

Anyone know why the non-M3 (i.e. chrome) front strut brace has gone up in price? It used to be about $260 and now it's $390 or more at most online retailers.

I don't think there's any HVAC ducting that goes beyond the front dashboard in our cars.

No. The ducting goes as far back as the rear seats (under the front seats), but it's pretty weak back there. Nothing goes into the trunk.

It's not the car you drive, it's how you drive it.

Where? Under seats? I don't recall seeing them when I had the seats out.
