I just ordered a set of BMW X5 LED's from The Retro fit source for $60 shipped. Going to attempt to McGuyver them into the OEM E46 fog light housings! I love the CREE LED fogs I have now but at $150 per set and one already went bad I need to figure something else out.

Those are the ones I have. Those are awesome!
I'm surprised they still have them at that price...

You will have to do some heatsink grinding and fog light housing shaving to get them to fit, so be prepared for some modding. Stuart helped me (did most of the work lol) retrofit them into my housings - perhaps he can give you more info if you need it.

Ya for $60 shipped its a great deal. I was looking on eBay and the cheapest set is around $125.

yeah they are just cheap because they have some scuffs on them that would prevent a normal person from using them. also they are selling 2 of the same side.

Hey Heiu what is the difference between the ones I just bought (that come with two right lights) and the Maxima Hella Fogs? Are the Maxima's just a right and left OE BMW fog light set?

That link doesn't go anywhere really. But I never heard of/seen Maxima Hella fogs that look like that. I think someone just mislabeled it. I know they used to sell the OEM X5 ones for about that much though.

Strange it works for me. Anyway ya they look like a set of X5 LED fog lights, left and right side.
