Had to cancel my trip to the gym for a different kind of exercise. I heard some scraping and discovered the splash shield was loose. I pulled into the garage. Some time later...good as new

The screws are rusty, so I'm not sure if they would hold up on their own. Is it possible to replace the screws or does the whole shield have to be replaced?

I wonder if the dealer touched it when they did their inspection.

yep, you can buy new hardware for it. i got some spares from ECS or FCP, for 'inventory' (LOL). check realoem.com for part #s.

    Pretty complicated... http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/show...diagId=51_3274

I already had 7 of the c-clip nuts. I thought I needed 7 screws and it looks like 3 plastic rivets for the front edge. This is saying 6x 19-circlips and 6x 20-quick release screws. What's 8, 18 and 10 for?

So I'm guessing 7x part 19 and 20 and then I need to find the part number for the plastic rivets.
