Haha. Well if OEM made all cars 255/35. It must be fine. Unless I just don't know the east coast. In the west I've never had an issue with 30 series in the decade + of using them.

Nah lol no tax return I don't get anything all I get is like $800 back lol I'm single no kids lol good job 🤷🏻*♂️ I put it on my credit card lol pay it off slowly. I send something to it every week.
I decided at the beginning of the year that I'll focus on losing weight, focus on my car more, travel with my girl (we're going to Miami next week for my bday). And of course save money. lol I've already lost 15lbs last month going for 15lbs more this month!

What wheels a person likes on their car is purely subjective. In my opinion, the CSL, BBS CH, BBS LM, ARC-8, and Volk TE37's all look good on the E46 although some are much heavier such as the BBS CH wheels.
Compared to the ARC-8's I have in my garage, my BBS CH wheels are much heavier. You can feel them when you drive the car but damn, do they look incredible on the car once mounted!
If you're tracking or driving your car spiritedly all the time then I would stay away from the BBS CH wheels to be honest and go for the much lighter ARC-8/Volk TE37 wheels. If you're going purely for looks then I would say BBS LMs or BBS CH wheels is the way to go. If you want to stay more OEMish then go with the CSL wheels. Either way you can't lose![]()
Yes. The pistons are garbage on the stock calipers - they do not stand up to track use whatsoever and crack under high heat, which is ironic considering these are 6-piston calipers (essentially a BBK) and not the typical single piston floating ones BMW usually used on their cars of that generation.
I would do some naughty things for TE-37's... too bad they're so friggin' expensive.
