Being a 53 yo father of 3 twenty-somethings, I would probably suggest letting it go. Perhaps after saying it was a pretty pissy thing to do without at least giving you a warning (and chance to come get it)...

We are trying to jettison a lot of crap around here and I let my 25 yo talk me into keeping a few of his things for a while longer. I did warn him if/when we move it will be going bye-bye if he doesn’t take it when told...

Thanks Shawn I really appreciate the advice, especially from your perspective. I guess it’s nice to not have a cluster of parts that I haven’t touched in a year lol

i realize you don't have the perspective of a parent on this one... but considering he fed, sheltered and clothed you for most of your life thus far... i'd say letting it go would be a wise move.

Bingo. No need to sour that relationship over a few hundred dollars worth of used car parts.

Took apart the Wizgear magnetic ball joint, drilled a new hole in the Panavise bracket, and turned it into a flush-mount. The ball joint on mine never secured very tightly, and it was really wobbly. While I was in there I repaired a broken tab on the cube trim above the radio, which caused the left side to pop out every time there was a bump in the road. It’s still not perfect, but it’s significantly better.
