I had a hell of a time getting the oil cap to unscrew in the cold. Common issue? Would a new cap help?

I think the solution will be a new gap. Mine is very old, so the gasket is probably shot on it.
IIRC the gasket can be replaced separately, however. Personally I'll be buying a new cap.

I remove the gasket, lube it, and flip it over to see if I can get a few more miles out of it.

Who has done a shifter rebuild kit, and what do you think? ESC Tuning has a few on sale now.

    Paging @slater

I did mine, and honestly it’s mushy af going into 5th (I have to shift with a purpose). Every other gear is tight though. I paired it with a Garagistic DSSR.

I have the rebuild/upgrade kit but haven't installed it yet. Actually didn't want the poly rear bushing, but they had just changed it over when I ordered mine in late November, for $2 less than their new 'sale' price.
