I've been chasing a squeaking pulley for about a week now. It's also been raining cats and dogs for a week so I assumed a phenomenal amount of water was somehow finding it's way to my drive belt. Well it turns out it wasn't rain water. I have a small leak on the upper radiator hose right where it connects to the thermostat. Time to pull it apart and see why it's leaking.

AFE stage 1 CAI, Silicone Stett Intake Boots, AA Headers and Exhaust, AA Tune, Cat Delete, Hicon GT Adjustable Coilovers, Quaife Helical LSD, EVO 3 SS Kit, UUC Organic Clutch w/ UUC LW Flywheel, GTR rep carbon fiber hood, CSL rep carbon fiber trunk, CDV delete, CP Forged Pistons & SP Forged Con Rods, MotoZ projector headlights, Sony bluetooth/touch nav, & lots of love

You got lucky and were able to find the broken part easy! That hose isn't hard to replace and if it has been a while I would just do T stat and water pump while your in there. Draining and adding coolant sucks

What did you do for your ZHP/ BMW / MINI today? #2

    Finally got a new key.

Also installed the paravise phone bracket. Just need to get the magnetic mount probably tomorrow.

    Hopefully PASoft will arrive soon.

Also curbed the piss out of my right front wheel. Luckily the PO had never seen a curb he didn’t like, so my indiscretion isn’t even noticeable...not really a win there.

Rotated the tires today on the car.

Also trying to figure out what to do with the rear fenders. The rear end is sagging a little bit which is causing the tires to rub. I am not sure what to do. Do I roll the fenders? Do I look worn out parts to see what may be failing? The suspension on the car only has about 40,000mi on it to date.

Oh I got very lucky! Haha I was sitting here all ready to buy a pulley set lol.

I just did my t-stat and pump less than 4000 miles back hahaha. Buuuut the housing could be damaged. If I have to replace the hose, I may just use it as an excuse to go silicone. I'll keep you guys updated on what the issue is lol.

Replaced the Upper and Lower Intake Boot the other day due to SES. Cleared codes. But evidently I still have another fault to take care of...….
