Well after being dicked around by parts places. I went with FPS for all of parts needed. I would not recommend them, for anything. I ended up going Rein hoses, bmw t stat, bmw coolant temp sensor, Hepu water pump. BMW coolant.
Other than the 5 trips to the store for parts, it was a smooth, fairly quick job.
All the belts look good, the expansion tank, and rad looked in good shape.
I believe the leak was coming from the coolant sensor in the lower rad hose. Although, at the t-stat I did see crust, and the gasket looked a little wonky.
Thanks fellas!

FCP Euro came though. I finally used my credit that they gave me from a sour purchase more than 7 years ago.
Looking forward to putting on the new rotors, pads, and the floor mats were just for me.
Thanks again.

Give FCP another shot. Or send them a message at "sales@fcpeuro.com" explaining why you are pissed with them. I bet they make good.
Rein is totally fine, as is Wahler for the t-stat.
ECS has been completely awful when they mess up (everyone messes up), but FCP always makes good for me.
(note - I responded to page 1, not reading the rest! But I stand by what I wrote, so I will leave it)
