After my DIY weekend, I washed and waxed it. Back to sitting outside for another few weeks

I am glad to hear that Peter is into the cycling.
This is my problem for the last 3 years. Nice weather season is pretty short in New England. I am always torn a part and deciding between wrenching, cars&coffee or going to a nice long bike ride.

Daily kijiji browsing has done me good again. A guy was giving away a box of random parts, most of them new - he'd sold his ZHP 3 years ago. As is customary I gave him a box of Timbits.
Key highlights of the stash include:
- FEQ front wheel bearing (I wonder if this a quality part?)
- Lemforder RTABs (sweeeeeet)
- Ina tensioner (sweeeeet)
- ATE brake caliper seals and guide pin bushings
- BavAuto OFHG (I wonder if this is Viton???)
- Rear Spring Pads
- BMW banner

Yeah but I encouraged it the last time we talked because the scale is pretty significant. What's upgrades to an older bike like $1500 tops? A brand new super sporty bicycle like $5k off the showroom floor?
Shit is nothing coming from a car guy lifestyle
@t.er the viton ofhg should be not black in color (likely brown but maybe green)
Lol, bikes can be quite pricey... one of my profs had 5 figures into a bike and made up some excuse "demonstration" in a lecture just so he could ride it indoors. Overall, agreed still less costly than cars
I've been driving at night a lot more often and noticed how low my headlights were aimed - it's been like that ever since I installed my GC coils. Odd since the level sensors were fine, and I'd assumed they would compensate. Found this thread from @rovert from a loooong time ago, came in quite handy!

It’s amazing how an inch can change what you see at night!
