Hey Guys, Im new to the club. My names Blaine. I own a tricked out 2004 330ci ZHP Conv

    Hey Guys,

Good to be here. I have a question i need your expertise with. I want to convert my wheels to a square setup. I have bc racing BR series Coilover and heavier sway bars. Car is just a tad lower than stock. Im tired of burning through rear tires.

I want to go square setup in order to rotate. Id like to go 18x9x35mm Tire size 245/40/18 all 4. Will this be a good fitment without having to roll any fenders.

    Thanks

I have 245/40/18 square on my 330xi, but its a bit higher than the ZHPs.
If you're going lower than stock, may want to stick with 235/40/18, but others can chime in that are lower than stock.
I believe you will rub a little with 245/40/18 up front on coilovers.

We regularly put 18x9 et42 with 255 tires on lowered cars without any issue.

Your setup pushes the wheel out 7mm, but running a 10mm narrower tire still leaves the sidewall 2mm further than mine above. There are enough variances in tire shapes between manufacturers that you may be ok if the tire is rounded, but if its squared it might rub. YMMV

    You're running 255/35 though, no?
    Not 255/40.

    Correct, stock size of 255/35/18.

255/40/18 is 1" taller than stock
