When I was just in Switzerland trying to go up the mountain with my little Suzuki car with parisien all season tires, and failed about 40% of the way up, my brother-in-law drove down to get us up to the village. He showed up in a hybrid x5 with snow tires and had no issues going on up.
I thought for a second about selling the E93 and switching into an X (it also helps that we got a solid 5 inches over here yesterday).

My wife was in a 3-car accident yesterday. Luckily, everyone involved is ok. A sedan hit her on the front left side. This pushed the X3 and she hit a pickup truck on the right side.
There is suspension damage: the steering wheel is crooked and the "chassis stabilization" warning shows on the dash.
Let's wait for the body shop estimate.
