The guys in e46f are getting creative about NLA parts. For example, hood struts:

I wonder what that red string in the lower right hand corner is?

And correct, Genuine BMW hood struts are still available. I just bought a pair recently but still haven?t put them on yet.

"Btw, the red thread next to the exhaust heat shield: it pulls the shields up for anti-rattle solution. The double-up thread with both ends tied to a metal hook each and the hook hooks on the edge of the heat shield with tension to kill the rattle. I have this for more than 5 years and it works perfect with no broken thread even once.

And the yellow wire is holding in a broken corner lens."

I have these front spoilers new unused in box and package that are NLA. Do not really know how much longer I can hold on to them before putting them on the market[

Yes, it?s getting rough in NLA land. My cowl is bad, but I got one of those $9.99 gaskets from Amazon. Going to take the cowl out, and try gluing it together.

Good news from E46F:

"BMW is finally starting to show some stock of diamond keys in Germany! They will most likely be filling backorders first, and no stock is showing in the US, but it's a start. Just wanted to update the community because I know some have been struggling with the idea of an aftermarket key."
