Definitely going Meyle this time around. I installed OEM about 10k ago, and the steering wheel is twitching again when I stab the brakes.
Are you sure its the new CABs that are shot and not warped rotors? If you waited too long to change the bushing after you started to feel the shimmy during breaking it might have warped your rotors, especially if the current shimmy is a lot less then original. I say this is because that is what happened to me, even though I installed Meyle HD bushing my shimmy stayed although there was improvement. I had to put new set of rotors to completely eliminate it. Just saying, bushings should last a little more than 10k regardless which ones you got.

yep, this is what I'm feeling except I noticed it right away... When I had my diff mount replaced I asked them to check out the front end while it was on the lift... something I can't do laying on the ground. He said that they were reaaly soft and had a Mfr. date of '08

Good point....My rotors are brand new. Also I'm not feeling any shimmy or wobble. Just the classic beat LCAB pulse in the steering wheel when hitting the brakes.

I wish I had the time to swap them out before the road trip.

That's good to know. I was thinking about trying them. I use my car to go from site to site every day... don't that in the wheel.

Where did you get the Meyle's? Maybe I'll just overnight them and throw em on the car before I leave.... There is no differnce on ZHP when ordering, no?

    No difference for the ZHP.

Did Meyles on my 325 and the ZHP. Very happy with them.

    Thanks, Wash.

Crest Glide Deep Clean Cool Mint Floss took the letters/numbers right off with a little sawing motion. Then I removed the larger pieces of left over adhesive with my fingers and went over it with some Goo Gone.

After that, there was just the slightest visible outline of adhesive where the letters were that I couldn't get off with the Goo Gone and a microfiber, so I broke out the Porter Cable and some Menzerna finishing polish.

Total time was about 15 minutes.

Wash, I've been waffling for months.

Marc (zhpnsnv) was here yesterday and sold me on it.

Glad I did it. Instantly makes the back end look cleaner/better, imo.
