You can always use plastic trim removal tools to help... but no... just pull... gently and close to the point where it is connected.

When the orange mounting pieces are worn or broken they can make it very difficult to remove the panel smoothly... just an fyi. A few of mine were shot, i could get the panel about 1/4 inch out then it would hang up- I needed to use my plastic trim panel tools to get it off the pin. The pin(clips into back of trim panel) is aluminum while the orange piece is plastic but has a steel clip inside it that grabs onto the soft aluminum and holds the panel on... when it is removed a bunch of times or just damaged the steel clip digs into the aluminum and becomes a PITA to get off.
