If not a ZHP, what would you drive?

I thought there was a similar thread already, but can't find it, so here goes...

If you could only have one car, and it couldn't be a ZHP, what would it be? Let's keep it in the ZHP~ish price, range. ie, under $25k or so.

For me, I'm in a 335i Coupe, but have to say I'm longing for an E46 M3 (ZHP being a first preference, obvs).

wow thats tough. I am having a blast with the E46. I might just be in a really nice 330i. I was actually shopping for one when my BMW enthusiast friend said I should go for a ZHP specifically. I am so so glad he did, of course. haha.

If we are talking attainable yet price is less of an object, I might be gunning for a 2 series.

Wow, if it is only one car around $25K?

    What zhp is near $25K???

It most likely have to be a BMW M3 ZCP, or a 135i. Porsche Boxster also comes to mind.

If something happened to my zhp and I would have to replace it with another car, I would highly consider the Acura TSX special edition.

It would be another comfy, sporty and fun to drive daily.

I didn't mean to imply that many ZHPs are around $25k, but rather that a $25k price point is not an unattainable stretch for any ZHP owner (~$15k for a nice ZHP, save another $10k). Basically, a "reasonable" price point.

Interesting option. Didn't see this one coming.

    I think I'd have to add E39 540i M-Sport and M5 to my options.

Just note that a rebuild on a S38 can cost over $10k
