    Question Extended lug bolts necessary?

I'm getting some 12 mm spacers for the rear and a little smaller spacers for the front from a buddy of mine. Do i need to get some extended lug bolts as a result? I'm a little nervous about running spacers I've never done that before so kind of a noob about it.

    Thanks fellas.

Yeah I think you'll need them with 12mm.

How much longer do they need to be? I also don't want to get cheap ones and them sheer off on me going down the road or taking a hard corner :/

That I couldn't tell you for sure. 12mm? I think a set of extended ones would only run you $25-$30 though. Maybe even cheaper

Okay cool thanks. My main concern with these 68's is front strut clearance. The tires already rub on my stock 8" wheels..but from what I've read the 68's are actually 7.5 in the front but still run a 225 on them?

ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY. even with 5mm, the stock bolts are rather short.

I would recommend 39mm bolts. Your other option is to go with 75mm stud conversion and lugnuts. This will give enough room for a 12mm spacer and removed the need for different bolt lengths for with and without spacers.

Okay I'll get the lug bolts... depending on how big the fronts are I imagine I will need shorter bolts to match the smaller spacers as well.

Yup. If you go on turnermotorsport.com and look at spacers, they tell you what lugs to order with what spacers. Def need them.

I went with studs since I switch to with and without spacers depending on which rims I run.
