I hope the dealer's idea of a car wash isn't running it through an automated one. I'd be shocked if Porsche did that too!

It's not the car you drive, it's how you drive it.

They hand wash here Botond. I was reassured of this by my service advisor.

I now can put a closure on my Adaptive Sport Seat retrofit project since I have recalibrated my AWS control unit. Seems when you swap out seats from the basic comfort type seats to the full power Adaptive Sport Seat the AWS control unit requires recalibration for the new seats or you will still have the airbag deployed indication on your instrument cluster.... since I had to take my car to get the State safety inspection I needed to get the fault cleared....

Of course I posted a pic of the Carrera GT that was next to my Porsche in an earlier post... it was a nice day

Today my Titanium lug nuts for the Porsche came in so I will be installing them soon...

I won't have to worry about my lug nuts corroding as the OE Porsche lug nuts are steel and tend to rust....

Here's the new set out of the wrapper...

You can immediately see the difference in the new lugs... as the old ones were corroded....

all the wheels look much better with new lugs

Sorry about this pic... I was in an awkward position when I snapped this....(don't ask)....

Since I'm coming up I would love to catch up with you guys while I'm up there and yes, I'm taking my speed sled on a road trip and going up with Botond to Calabogie.

With high volume like BMW, I can't imagine a detailer giving a rats ass with all the workload he has to do. I used to work at a BMW dealership and they definitely don't pay the detailers enough.. Porsche Dealerships I'm sure have a little more giveway for that.

What dates are you looking at? Calabogie means you'd be passing Ottawa...so that is Ayan's territory. Don't want to clutter up your thread here so maybe we can PM each other?
