My wipers are oem and also do that unfortunately. Would swapping to the ICONS solve this maybe?

Giya, have you tried wiping your windshield with denatured alcohol? Then maybe apply Rain-X?

My windshield actually has an indent where the wipers switch position. All that wiping over the years wore out the windshield!

Whenever I use rain-x it slowly leaks out and I need a refill.

I don't use rain-x, I just wax my windows when I wax my car.

I recently installed a set of the Bosch OEM-style blades, they were fine for a few months (which means 1-2 times in the rain), then the driver's side wiper started chattering MERCILESSLY. Ditched them today for Icons. Will report back how they do. Though after a few crazy monsoon rainstorms, the monsoon season may now be just about over with - suckers probably won't see rain till November. :0

I'm too lazy to check and see if this has been said already, but:

    - I clay my window with either clay or the nanoskin pad thing
    - Apply rain-x, wax, or a sealant (klasse or whatever I'm using at the time)
    - Clean wiper blades with rain-x, etc.

I use the PIAA SI-Tech 20 and 22" blades and have been pretty happy with them.

Seconded. They snap in without effort, clean the windshield spectacularly well, and last quite awhile, too. It's an added bonus that they look lovely on the car.

I see different sizes for driver's side mentioned above. My car came with Icons so I suppose I'll stick with them since I don't have the other hardware and the get good reviews. What size?
