Also, about your wheels... You should think of something like this. Makes it easier to keep your wheels clean/just wipe off the dust

Dr. Colorchip? Not positive what you're referring to though.

Yeah...I mean.....if you have some rock chips.....Dr. Colorchip is the way to go....imho. A ton of chips just warrants a re-spray.

I am working on my P0171 code this weekend and found that my DISA valve is broken. When I took it out the pin on the end was just hanging there (lucky). The valve is broken at the bottom of the flapper. I did not have the foresight to order a new DISA before I took it apart. I could repair it or put it back in and wait till the new one comes. If I do put it back I will have to secure the pin and I could glue the flapper to the turning component. Any feedback would be helpful.

Pull out or affix loose parts as suggested. Then reinstall.

When I glue it together, what orientation should the flapper be in - open or closed...

Just takin' a break. Doing my ICV right now. When I took it out it did not move. Cleaning everything, manifold ports, etc. Any recommendations about cleaning out the air manifold where the DISA plugs into? I am installing new air intake boots as well. Looks like I should have ordered a DISA too (as this looks to be a common problem)...Hey I am having a blast working on the car (and I'm learning a lot too). Thanks for all your help!
