Hrrmmm...My splash guard is a completely different shape then...

I have a hole in mine towards the rear of the engine, and there's a support that circles the Oil Drain Plug that I can jack the front up with. Very strange change in design.

Well now that the air is cleared of confusion, I congratulate you on your purchase

    A few minor things:
    - Tightened up my glove box lock, broke the wires in the meantime. Got/getting some help from William.
    - Installed the first aid kit bracket for the under seat kit
    - I was going to install an AUX jack just for extra connectivity but I realized that that port is being used by my Dice.
    - South Bay BMW had sent me a coupon for $25 of accessories so I bought these and put the M caps on:

I've seen this come up several times and i think it might be a pre/post facelift thing.

I chose a different pedal kit but I love that you can engrave ZHP on those.

Nope, nothing wrong with your ground, just a known issue with the aux-in port on our radios. The solution is to solder up a little circuit (a resistor & a capacitor, IIRC) in your DIY aux cable; the OEM aux cable has this circuit built-in. Search for DIY aux-in & you should find the info & circuit diagram.
