    No. The known issues with the E46 are well documented and the majority of them are preventable by doing regular maintenance.

    Just got off the phone with the Bank of America and was told that if I want to get this I am an all cash buyer. I guess some one else is going to get the cool toy.

    In other words, BOA is saying it will not finance this vehicle? Did it say why it would not finance it? Too many mods? Didn't like the conversion?

    BOA told me they will not finance a vehicle that is 2003 or older. My credit union in Texas would finance a vehicle that old, but they told me no vehicles outside of Texas.

    I just found this on BOA's site:

    General conditions

    * Minimum amount financed of $7,500
    * Maximum amount financed of $100,000
    * Mileage, loan-to-value (LTV), and model year restrictions
    * Loan approval voucher is only valid for one vehicle per transaction
    * For dealer purchases, vehicles can't be more than five years old
    * For private party, refinance and lease buyouts, vehicles can't be over seven years old
    * Vehicle identification number, year, make, and model are required for application process on person to person, refinance and lease buyouts.

    In addition, for private party transactions

    * Vehicle must be purchased directly from the seller(s)
    * Seller(s) and registered owner(s) listed on the title must be one and the same
    * Powers-of-attorney are not accepted for private party transactions
