here's how impulsive i am - you guys are gonna love this. so i had been looking to replace my ratty floor mats for a while, finally settled on some. received my new floor mats a couple weeks ago, which i posted a picture of, however i was not thrilled with them. they are from bavauto and are much thicker than OEM and are black with silver piping around the edge. truth be told, i just didn't love the look after i received them. but i paid $125 for them and figured, eh, with time i'll grow to like them.

well fast forward to this morning where i come to find Db4popov's post with the BMW puddle lights, and happen to notice his ///M floor mats in the video. i had seen those style before for the M3, but they always had the complete "///M3" instead of just the "///M" logo. so then i hop over to ebay and see these bad boys: http://www.ebay.com/itm/99-05-BMW-E4...17526913492874

$49.99 w/ free shipping?! hell freakin' yes please! so immediately i checked bavauto's return policy and i'm still within the window (30 days after receipt), called 'em up, and got the return authorization lol. i'll end up saving $60 or so after return shipping, and i feel like OEM mats will look pretty sweet, matching the wheel and shifter etc..

    end blahg.

edit: and actually it looks like since i purchased just a few mins ago, that ebay listing has now gone down an additional 5% to $47.49. lol

Today I took my ZHP through the automatic car wash (I live in a condo, so don't really have the opportunity to wash it at home) and I also took wheel cleaner and tire shine to the wheels and tires.

Only problem is that my front roundel fell off in the wash. Luckily I noticed it while I was doing the wheels and I went right back and picked it up off the ground. This is the second time this has happened (in fact this is a brand new roundel because the last one chipped after falling off).

So, question for the Mafia: should I just super-glue it on there? The backing that it came with is sticky, but not sticky enough. I think that if I super-glue it, the roundel could still be replaced because I'm talking about super-gluing the roundel itself to the backing frame that actually goes into the car. My replacement roundel came with both items but I only used the actual roundel. So if I ever needed to replace the roundel (say it got cracked etc) I think I could replace both the frame and the roundel. Sound good?

Are you talking about the hood roundel? Maybe you need the little rubber grommets for the prongs. Do not super glue it!

Ok wait, I just reread your post. If the sticker is coming off the backing, you may want to epoxy it to the backing.

Thanks Ryan, yeah I just mean the top part, not the part with grommets/prongs. Hopefully some super glue will take care of it!

When purchased new, there was an option to delete it (free of course). There will be some zhp's that never had it installed.
