Woke up early this morning and cleaned the MAF, DISA, ICV and throttle body, and also replaced the lower intake boot (thought that was the culprit of a high pitched squeal when accelerating - after finishing, the squeal has subsided partially but you can still hear it a little when the driver window is down).

Took me about 3 hours total at a leisurely pace. I'm stoked that everything went so smoothly

Nah PO did. I read somewhere else that that might be the culprit of the squeal when accelerating. Someone else had a squeal, took off their K&N and put stock airbox back on, and squeal went away. I might just have to live with it because I don't want the stock box back on.

    I think you're confusing a whistle for a squeal.

Whistle is probably much more accurate. Definitely not a pulley squeal.

I was sitting here for like 5 minutes trying to think of a word for it and squeal is all that came to mind

I'm looking at your DISA seal (the big round orange o-ring) and its definitely flattened out when it should be voluptuous and protruding like collagen injected lips. Try replacing that (try GAS website) and I think your whistle will be gone.

If you have an open filter you'll hear a whistle at partial throttle.

My inner "ricer" came out today..

I bought an OEM BMW aero kit for pre-face sedans (super RARE). I asked the seller for some pictures of the content, he opened it and the front lip had a twist, I opted out and got a full refund.

I'll stick to my original plan of a full oem m-tech 2.

Then, I bought some red 1156 48 LED bulbs for the back up lights on the wagon I think it'll look cool, and it will be super bright, it's just kinda ricey, lol.

I also bought some 48 led's for the turn signal part of the rear lights, if they work out good, I will buy some for the parking light and brake lights. I really like LED's for their instant on/off when they flash, they just look so much sharper than oe halogens..

Sup guys? I stepped out for a minute but I'm back now.

    I've missed this place.

In other news this ZHP might be a little rough around the edges- but it seems like a great deal! I dunno if it has been posted, but the going rate is $7600!
