How is the 50% tint? My dad wants his E39 tinted, I am thinking either 35% all over, but he wants to keep a classy look so the clear ceramic tint fits the bill.. But that is very expensive. So maybe 50% is the best tint to go with.
I don't like 35% so 50 is perfect for me. It compliments the color of the ext and int just right. I'll try to get better pics tomorrow.

Yeah, the best stuff is ceramic. I have 5% on the rear and 35% on the front (3m tint). I am steering my dad towards a uniform tint, like 50% front and back. Tint on the front windows is illegal in Ca.. But I have never been stopped for it and I doubt I will. The PO parked the car outside (on the strret) in SF everyday and never got a window tint ticket either.

Looks nice! I have been thinking what tint I'm going to get.

Installed the uuc red isolated trans bushings with isolated cups. Drove it and the vibration is insane so removed the cups. Just the red bushings still produce a decent amount of vibration so I ordered the black urethane trans mount.

    Let the experiments begin.

Didn't like em?! UUC is not the place for your mounts. Recommend AKG for all of your bushing necessities. And yes the vibration with the red mounts is obnoxious. That's why I installed both the engine and transmission mounts in 75D! I drive my car everyday and love the feel and response; especially the cabin shaking vibration when I decelerate through the gears from 75mph on the back roads.

No cups; they're meant for the e21 trans mounts. When you get the mounts you like make sure you torque them to factory spec - the aftermarket spec is way off. I go by: turn til squash, back off a quarter turn.

Mind sharing what is wrong with UUC and their bushings? Seem like a nice design.

The red isolated trans mounts are a bit too much for my liking as far as vibration goes. And I do not think urethane will soften over time and will be hard during the cold weather. So I decided to give these black urethane bushings a try from UUC since they are fairly cheap. And if they are too soft, I can add the cups which I have.

75d is pretty stiff as well since I have a steering column bushing from AKG in 75d waiting to be installed. Any vibrations through the steering wheel from that?

Nivo has installed that. I suggest sending him a PM regarding the steering guibo.

UUCs design was not very well thought out in the early stages of their initial product run and because of the catastrophic failures associated with that design I have since avoided them for all future purchases. The owner is just a shady character. The only thing I bought from them was a panel filter made by afe.

AKG is a manufacturer that solely makes bushings and mounts as well as a few odds and ends for BMW. Dedicated and great customer service has made me a repeat customer. They offer a wide variety of stiffness and can definitely give your car the feel that desire.

Just putting my opinion in here, I rode in Justin's car and personally I couldn't handle the vibrations the 75D's produce on a daily basis or even on a trip over a couple hours for that matter. Not bashing them as I'm sure they're great for those who are looking for a feel like that, just not for me.

That was mostly the engine mounts. Bimmerworld makes a nice mount that only vibrates when you're under 1000 rpm.

But the bolt through trans mounts will always add NVH. the OEM mounts are the best at the luxury smooth ride but the poly mounts in the same design with fail...catastrophically. again when I get older and tire of the vibrations I will probably swap them for softer mounts. But every time I drive it's a racecar
