Yeah the trick is not to coat what you're painting in one go. I make sure every coat looks like more of a splatter of fine dust. I'll just keep doing it until it's coated slowly. Also for the letters are small so you want fine spray. Heat up your plastidip with a microwave heat pack or hot water. The warmer the paint the finer the spray. Small letters can't afford large droplets. I get the paint so it's mildly hot to the touch but warmer than just warm.
Water boils at 100C and freezes at 0C so I try to get the paint to 45-50C.
