I'm down a headlight (control unit dead) BMW doesn't have the part in-stock, should I ride with 1 headlight and hope the car fixes itself or leave it at home?

Good lookin' out Johnbut I have a feeling Richmond BMW will probably want to void my warranty with all of the aftermarket ruckus I have on my car. If it was a cheap part/labor I wouldn't care, but the unit is $489 + labor. I will wait til Monday to have it replaced up here, and keep my fingers crossed that it just starts working again. Just hope that I don't have any any trouble with the law over it.
