After just one application of the Sonax Polymer Netsheild. There was previously no wax on the car since I washed it before application and water laid flat on the trunk.

This was my test area. Rest of the vehicle will be coated sometime next week depending on when I can get off of work

So what exactly is Polymer Net shield? Is it a wax replacement entirely, or is it meant to be used on top of a good wax coat?

I honestly don't know. My guess is that it's to be used on bare paint with no other LSPs on it so it can bond more strongly with the car. I put it on with no wax (weather wore it & opti seal from last fall off) and I have no wax on top of it now, but I'll be keeping an eye on it to see if it'll ever need a coat. But, my guess is that it won't

I wonder if clears are purchasable up in your area meric since they aren't dot approve in the states. I just purchased a set from ecs and getting ready to seal up the rears I got from the UK.

Nope US laws applies here has to be DOT compatible but no one cares and checks.. So its fine
