Ordered new front struts and a new steering Guibo this morning. Late next week it'll be in the shop for an alignment and to mount and balance four new tires. Assuming FedEx finds my fourth tire.
Goddamn FedEx, you had one job...
Mods: Smoked corners, smoked side markers, smoked tails, 35% tint, CF kidney grills, debadged, angel eyes, 3000k HID Fogs, OBX exhaust, Sharked, solo werks S1 coilovers, front and rear strut brace, AUX cable

Got a call from my indy shop today. My wheels came back from the refinisher. Said they "weren't right", color wasn't dark as I asked for, and there were some paint issues. Sent them back for another try.
Nice to know they've got my back, but I'd sure like to get them back already. This has been in the works for quite a while.
Alos got lined up to get my windows retinted tomorrow. That'll be nice. Imola car seems considerably more prone than the Alpine White to heat up inside when left in the sun.

What tint are you going for? I am hopefully getting this done in the next week or two: http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3...omotive_Films/
2005 BMW 330i ZHP 6MT. Built 11-19-04. Bought 4-2012.
Stock: Nav, leather, PDC, Xenon
Added by me: OEM Alarm, OEM heated seats, OEM aux kit, OEM Bluetooth, intravee, M3 strut brace, BMW Performance Intake, Nappa leather arm rest, updated LCM (triple blink, euro hazards, trifecta lighting, 3 stage brakes), temp gauge
It's a ceramic, either 36 or 38% transmittance, I can't recall exactly. Has great heat rejection, which was more what I was after. The 20% my car had on it was just way too dark for me. And the rear and sides were 2004 vintage, and had taken on that awesome purplish hue. It really needed to come off.

Belated thanks for the kind and extremely generous comments from my familia Mafia.
You can tell you're getting older when it takes you longer to recover from a full days worth of detail. Back in the old days I'd be right back at it within a day or two doing another car. Now it's more like a week or two. Which means the little frau's Touring is next in line starting this weekend.
I just added a keyhole cover from Ind. Like a bonehead I didn't put a towel down under the door, and naturally dropped it on the cement while trying to fit the new piece back into the hole.
So it's a bit scuffed on the outside edge, but it's only fairly noticeable when looking at it from the 3/4 angle.
I think it's an ok addition, but frankly I'm not sure how long I'll stick with it. Sometimes I can be like a female constantly changing their mind like trying to figure out what hairstyle looks best.![]()
