What did you do for your ZHP/ BMW / MINI today? #2

Yeah it is from Bimmian, worked great and the trim looks same as it did prior to the install. no modifications, took 5 minutes to install.

I'm new here, not getting the subtext... known issues with bimmian mount? voided my warrantee? Trans will grenade now?

I bought just the metal plate from bimmian, It came and had another companies part number stamped on it, then used exterior double sided tape to mount the car dock.

The bimmian mount goes under your trim, so sometimes the trim sticks out some. Not too big a deal for some, it drives others crazy. My trim sits somewhat flush but sometimes pops out a little.

Installed some Zimmerman blank rotors and OE mintex pads on the front. Stopping power is awesome, steering wheel shake is almost gone (new Z4M FCABS coming up this week). And no more brake squeal!

Also got my OEM Lemforedor E46 M3 RTABS which will be installed with Vorshalg Limiters, handling should be amazing paired with the Z4M FCABS!

Some is an understatement, John... my trim is completely loose. You can easily lift out the trim with just one finger.
Most of the people I know who have one have said their trim is loose from it. You got soooooo lucky, man...

Gotcha! i'll keep an eye out for the trim coming loose, perhaps they changed the design or something? I'm pretty quick to call out a crap part when I see it.

Signed an individual purchase agreement to get the paperwork started. Hopefully it will go through smoothly. I will miss her though.

The place I'm looking at moving is in a fantastic location. Surrounded by clubs/bars/restaurants. A block from the subway to work. 4 blocks from the main park in ATL. 1 mile from Trader Joes. I'm pretty sure I'm only going to be driving once a week. If that. Kind of reinforcing my decision to move down to one car... Chickened out on rushing into a house before I was ready and had post-down payment savings.

There are a few of us around. I'm actually in Buckhead now, but I'm looking at renting condo in midtown. (and a few other areas) Right above Vortex if you know where that is.

Just worked out a deal for my next set of winter wheels for the ZHP this afternoon....talking about a chance encounter! Timing was perfect and I will be picking these up from a friend here on the forum....what better way to add to my ZHP's project thread?
